MANOSARATHIGuidance & Counselling Center
For individuals & families

Here's exactly what happens, step by step.

No forms about your history before you're ready, no pressure, and no surprises — before you commit to anything, here's what reaching out actually looks like.

  1. You reach out

A short message is enough — no intake form about your history required yet. Tell us as much or as little as you're comfortable with.

  2. We help you find the right fit

A brief, no-pressure conversation to understand what you need and match you with a counsellor — not a random assignment.

  3. Your first session

45–60 minutes, in person or online. It's a conversation, not an evaluation. You set the pace.

  4. Ongoing support, your call

Continue at whatever cadence works for you. There's no pressure to commit to a fixed number of sessions.

What you tell us stays between us

Everything you share in a session is confidential. We don't discuss it with parents, schools, or employers without your explicit consent — the only exceptions are the narrow, legally required situations around immediate safety, which your counsellor will always explain to you upfront, not after the fact. Read the full details on our fees & confidentiality page.

Questions people usually have

Do I need to have a ‘serious’ problem to reach out?

No. People come to us for anything from a specific crisis to simply wanting to think something through with someone qualified. There's no bar you need to clear first.

What if I don't click with my counsellor?

Tell us. We'll help you switch to someone else — that's a normal, expected part of finding the right fit, not an inconvenience.

What does it cost?

Fees vary by service and counsellor. We'll always tell you the exact cost before you book — never as a surprise afterward.

Can I stop whenever I want?

Yes. There's no contract locking you into a fixed number of sessions. You're in control of the pace throughout.

Whenever you're ready, we're here.
